The Denizli is a long-crowed rooster breed developed in the southwestern part of Turkey, near the city of Denizli. Their crowing can last from 15 to 35 seconds. However, the length of their crowing decreases after 3 years of age. There are three types of calls of the Denizli rooster: clear, Davudi (medium) and thick. Davudi has a unique and clear crowing.
